Clearing the air on cloud computing
- Strongly disagree with arguments and "study" part of it. Search McKinsey got it wrong in google. He oversaw private clouds, which makes all argument short-sighted. Given that with recent Ubuntu Server one can deploy your own cloud and mix and match with amazon EC2, thus leading to really scalable architecture. I think enterprise just don't have personnel for it. - post by alex_mikhalev

Pecora and Carroll discovered that one can feed part of the state of one Lorenz system into a second Lorenz system, and the second Lorenz system will exponentially converge to the same state as the first system, even if the synchronizing signal is corrupted with noise(!). It's like some kind of psueodrandom, chaotic "phase locked loop"—very exciting
